Freaky Fractions!

Yesterday we began to learn about Fractions. We started our learning with a great Kahoot. The Kahoot had a range of questions that required us to use our Fraction knowledge. Today we began working in groups to fix any gaps that we had and answer any questions from yesterday. We specifically worked with equivalent fractions. Here is a You Tube video which might be helpful if you are struggling.
This image shows clearly, how the fractions remain the same.

Transformations In Real Life Math Project

Math homework for week 9. Your homework for this week is to create a presentation of some kind which shows examples of all of the different types of transformation...

Displaying Untitled image.png
If you find any examples of Tesselation, it would be great to have some photos of those also!
Here is an example of what you presentation may look like. You do not have to create a video. It is up to you. Try to be creative and use a new site or app. Remember that this is due on Friday.

If you are unsure of any of the areas, try playing some of the games in our math symbaloo at the bottom of our class blog.
