When we look at this graph, it shows comparisons betweens Rooms 7, 8 and 10. I can see that only room 8 has students who could wall squat for over 20 minutes. I can see that all three classes have 1 student who can only wall squat for less than one minute.

This graph has comparisons between boys and girls of Nepia house. I can see that all of the girls stopped before 13 minutes. We can see that boys could wall squat for the least amount of time.

Freaky Fractions!

Yesterday we began to learn about Fractions. We started our learning with a great Kahoot. The Kahoot had a range of questions that required us to use our Fraction knowledge. Today we began working in groups to fix any gaps that we had and answer any questions from yesterday. We specifically worked with equivalent fractions. Here is a You Tube video which might be helpful if you are struggling.

Prime Numbers

Now that we know about Factors, we need to think about Prime numbers. Prime numbers are numbers that only have 1 and the number itself as factors.

Decimals

Today we began working on adding and subtracting decimals. This is a bit tricky for some of us. If you need more practice, make sure that you watch the videos again. Miss Garland feels a bit geeky doing this, but she thinks it might help you to remember and visualise when you are working with decimals.

Decimals

Today we had a brief session about decimals, as some of us seem to have forgotten what a decimal is made of. Stay tuned to see some sessions about Rounding Decimals over the next few days.
